YOUR SOURCE FOR DESIGN SERVICES

Joe P. Carr Design LLC

We offer Design Consulting Services and the ability to source

one-of-a-kind Mexican antiques and decorative accents for

residential projects, hotels and restaurants. We can also

service projects located in Mexico, direct from our warehouse

in central Mexico.

With over 25 years experience in the Mexican design arena,

our specialty is blending Mexican architectural traditions with contemporary influences. Our focus on hacienda-style interiors has been greatly influenced by the rustic simplicity of Mexico's Spanish Colonial haciendas and our decades exploring these architectural treasures.

We have worked on residential and commercial design

projects throughout the U.S. and Mexico, including hotels,

restaurants, corporate ranch retreats and the restoration of an

eighteenth-century, Yucatán hacienda. (The Yucatán project

is featured in our 5th book, Casa Yucatán, pages 148-163

and also here, Project 2.)

We also invite you to view Hacienda Granada(Project 1), our own hacienda-style home that we designed using handcrafted Mexican materials, old Mexican doors and Mexican colonial antiques.

We welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your own

project. Please contact us at karen@haciendastyle.com or

Hacienda Granada’s office wall features an alacena

with raised-panel doors. An old Mexican copete (crest)

and Guatemalan children’s chairs accent the alacena.
