Small Baths with Big Impact

Small Baths with Big Impact

Having a small bathroom, whether it’s a powder room or a full bath, doesn’t mean you have to forgo a space that feels luxurious and elegant, it just means you have to get creative! One of my all-time favorite sink consoles is actually designed for use in small spaces. To me, the Parisian pedestal is an elegant statement piece, but still simplistic enough to not overpower a small space.

The key to creating a big impact in a small space is to create a unified look with just one “wow” factor, while the other elements play a supporting role. Here are 5 ways to make a statement in your small bath!

Think outside the typical bathroom light fixtures! While the lighting around the mirror is important {especially if overnight guests will be using the space to apply makeup}, you can still look for more decorative options like chandeliers and sconces. Sometimes, even a small table lamp on the counter that creates a bit of ambiance makes all the difference!

A pedestal sink is great for small spaces since it has a small footprint, but it doesn’t provide much usable space on the countertop. An alternative is a floating vanity, which gives the illusion of more space but still offers storage both on and below.
